Corruption driven by developers working behind the scenes with Pakatan state govts

On latest news reports that a 37-year old businessman with a title of “Dato’ Seri” was arrested by MACC for purportedly accepting RM19 million from a developer to stop probes into the scandalous RM6.3 billion Penang undersea tunnel project, because he isreported to have claimed that he has the connections to ensure closure of such investigations, this suggests that the colossal environmentally destructive project does have elements of corruption.

Likewise with the Ijok land scandal, why was Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Azmin Ali so eager to reach a settlement with the two private developers without going through an open tender thereby violating SelCAT’s motto of transparency. MB Azmin had surrendered the land to them, even before hearing at the Federal Court began, despite both firms having lost at the High and Appeals Courts.

What sort of behind-the-scenes private arrangements do both the Penang Chief Minister and the Selangor Menteri Besar have to prioritise the interests of private developers above the affected fishermen and environment in Penang, and the villagers who lost out on the current market value hike in Selangor when compensation was paid at much lower rate earlier?

Is this the reason why both Guan Eng and Azmin Ali refuse to chastise Tourism and Culture Minister Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz’s obscene profanities against industrialist Robert Kuok, Asia’s richest billionaire which is actually an assault against the entire Chinese community in Malaysia?

By shaming Robert Kuok and the Chinese community, Nazri Aziz’s attacks coupled with Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang then steering the blame-game to MCA, this appears to be  Nazri’s strategy to assist the Penang and Selangor state governments.

How? By diverting the flak away from them and the developers mired in scandal and suspicion of graft practices currently, the Padang Rengas MP is well known for his close friendship with his bosom buddy Guan Eng, thus helps DAP to rocket at MCA, not knowing that such tactics will backfire seriously on not only UMNO, but the BN federal government, as well as Malaysia-China diplomatic relations considering that government of the People’s Republic of China since the leadership of Premier Deng Xiaoping and current Premier Xi Jinping do hear out advice from Malaysia’s Sugar King.
