According to CRSM National Chief and GoCare consultant Dato’ Natalie Lim Chong Ly, the schools resumed classes in stages, one after another. Prior to the resumption of classes, CRSM aided with 163 disinfection operations at the schools’ premises.

In expressing her gratitude to the CRSM and GoCare for their School Pandemic Prevention and Care initiative, she also praised the generous donors for their contributions, which allowed the team to help sanitise the premises and deliver pandemic prevention products to the schools.

“GoCare has also sponsored community pandemic prevention workshops to raise awareness on the necessity for pandemic prevention and various prevention techniques, as well as donated pandemic prevention equipment to schools to increase teacher-and- student understanding of pandemic prevention. Following that, GoCare partnered with the Ministry of Education to offer online education. Students can continue their lessons and study at home through the learning platform eZ Learning Web, which is a network platform."

In conjunction with the reopening of schools, the goal of this activity is to support and promote life in the new normal, raise awareness on self-protection against the COVID-19 pandemic, maintain self-discipline and pandemic prevention, and provide more care and support to the schools.

Furthermore, CRSM utilised the GoCare platform to raise funds for the victims of the Pahang Karak fire incident to assist them in rebuilding their homes. The total amount donated has now reached RM 50,000. We also hope that more enthusiastic individuals will contribute their best efforts.

Several suppliers have expressed strong support for GoCare: SAVELIVES provided pandemic prevention supplies. Disinfection supplies were contributed by Asia Super Technology Chemical Group, while face masks were donated by Ramatex Group. Meanwhile, Rentas Health Sdn Bhd also participated in this event.

Dato’ Natalie Lim Chong Ly expressed her hopes that more suppliers will join in this pandemic prevention effort, and establish a safe school atmosphere for students to study in a peaceful environment.
