Accusing MCA of controlling appointment of Principal, Ng Suee Lim is up with cheap political stunt

I would like to clarify that the appointment of the Principal at SMJC Yu Hua Kajang truly followed the proper procedures, and the Selangor Education Department has the final say over the matter. It is definitely not political-motivated as alleged by DAP Sekinchan rep Ng Suee Lim. It has nothing to do with MCA or politics. Ng Suee Lim’s wicked attempts to slander MCA is in fact a cheap political stunt. 

On every issue involving MCA members, DAP will pick at any opportunity to blatantly attack MCA, which is an unhealthy political practice put up by the party. There are many chairmen of the Parent-Teacher Association, or heads of the Lembaga Pengurusan Sekolah who have an MCA background who. When they made great contributions or achievements to the education field, why did Ng Suee Lim not acknowledge those as MCA’s credits? This is a sick political mindset, and I advise Ng Suee Lim to go for a check-up, to see if he is suffering from the so-called ‘cancer’ claimed by DAP national chairman Tan Kok Wai.

On the other hand, the fact that Ng Suee Lim’s press conference was accompanied by a DAP Klang branch chairman and councillors showed that he is using politics to interfere with the education affairs. I urge Ng Suee Lim to stop his dirty tricks and let education be as it may.

In Malaysia, it is a norm to transfer civil servants from time to time. As there was a vacant post left by the Principal of a national secondary school in Petaling Jaya, and the national education board is willing to send someone to fill the post in SMJK Yu Hua Kajang, naturally the post has to be filled.

SMJK Yu Hua Kajang is a large national secondary school with 3,000 students, so the Selangor Education Department and the school itself are of the view that the vacant post should be filled by an experienced and capable individual. The former principal of SMJK Yoke Kuan Sekinchan is really a good candidate in view of her previous excellent performance, which is why she was deployed from SMJK Yoke Kuan Sekinchan to SMJK Yu Hua Kajang. From the education perspective, there is nothing wrong with this arrangement, and it also followed the normal deployment procedure. While the SMJK Yoke Kuan Sekinchan also received a good replacement, an individual with a Principal Certificate, who also served many years in the education field. He fulfilled the ‘professional academic staff’ requirement sought by Ng Suee Lim, so why his promotion was questioned by Ng?

Besides, Ng Suee Lim has accused that the recommendation letter for the principal promotion came from the special officer of deputy education minister without a basis in reason. This indicates that DAP is used to manipulating baseless information  like ‘quoting unnamed source’ to spread incorrect news to misguide the people and promote negative sentiments I urge Ng Suee Lim to show valid evidences, if any, to prove his claims. Otherwise, he should apologise over the matter as this is a serious allegation.
