Press statement by MCA Religious Harmony Bureau Secretary Chris Daniel Wong

It is DAP which misses the points!

Of all the rhetoric saying DAP in particular or that the Opposition Pakatan in general fight for the Chinese community, all these are complete bollocks!

One can just browse through the Pakatan Manifesto and observe that more policies have been injected for the Bumiputra community instead of the Chinese. If the Chinese community is really left behind as claimed by DAP, then why has the Manifesto failed to address economic policies pertaining to the Chinese?

Specifically mentioned in the Manifesto is ‘Iltizam Khusus’ for the Malay and Indian communities. There are plenty more evidences to indicate thus if one browses through the Manifesto.

The point here is why is DAP agreeing to policies supposedly dictated by Pribumi, despite the latter being a junior coalition partner?

Is DAP now reporting to Pribumi as its big “taikor”?

The entire Manifesto is nothing more than preferential treatment that DAP portrayed to loathe during the Mahathir regime.

Is this Manifesto meant for vote fishing only?

And why is a junior DAP Youth leader responding to Dato’ Sri Ti Lian Ker instead of their policies expertise in the party? Are they scared of debating an intellectually written paper?

Or are they just like their Penang Chief Minister, claiming that we are “nobody” to be responded to?

This shows DAP has taken the Chinese for granted and assumes the Chinese community would support them regardless of what they do.

In vote gendering, DAP once again shows itself that in order to win, they will do whatsoever including selling their own so-called principles and betray the Chinese community’s trust and have no qualms to “kow-tow” to their former enemies just to garner votes.
