MCA Youth TVET Bureau dialogue with ACCCIM to promote technical & vocational education




On 26 May 2017, MCA Youth Technical and Vocational Education Training Bureau Chairman Sdr Lau Chin Kok led ten members of the Bureau to hold a dialogue session with office bearers of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Malaysia (ACCCIM) led by its Secretary General Dato' Low Kian Chuan regarding promoting technical and vocational education training (TVET) to assist Malaysia in developing talents, to prepare the nation to become a high-income country.


Chin Kok informed that the MCA Youth TVET Bureau is currently preparing to launch a "Recognition of Previous Learning (RPL)." In addition to more than 20 years of experience in actively promoting TVET, there will also be other In-depth exchanges, to explore TVET and experience certification of all the small details.


From the meeting, it is hoped that both sides can leverage on each other for the future, and even reduce resources, while vigorously promoting technical and vocational education, and to work in close cooperation with each other for the future in order to have a better way to fully implement TVET.
