‘Deep state’ - Guan Eng’s latest take in distracting the Rakyat

Besides managing the country’s finances, Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng appears to have developed a liking to conspiracy theories, claiming ‘hidden hands’ are secretly trying to take down the Pakatan Harapan government. However, DAP being the largest component party in the PH coalition, such statements are completely unjustified, and only serves to highlight the government’s inefficiency in handling sensitive issues, as well as issues affecting the larger part of the country.

In an attempt to find respite from the public’s perception of DAP being unable to properly restrain Tun Dr Mahathir and his party from perpetuating racial sentiments, Lim Guan Eng has chosen to resort to lame excuses of the deep state breaking the PH coalition. What is the point of this, besides trying to push the grievances of the people towards some imaginary perpetrators? Does he think the people mere fools?

It is clear as day which party in the PH coalition is causing the deterioration of racial harmony. Even as Tun Mahathir and his party reinforce their political agendas, Lim Guan Eng’s statement has totally omitted any form of criticism or resentment towards them, instead opting for sensational claims of deep states, and the passing jibe at MCA.

This is undoubtedly a ‘remarkable discovery’ by Lim Guan Eng. However, it would be more helpful to the people if he had also discovered the extent of the racial agendas made by Tun Mahathir and Bersatu, and addressed those issues with the same passion and finesse.
