Kit Siang’s Mathematics on GE 14 off tangent

1)       DAP despite claiming themselves to be above racial politics have now displayed their racist DNA.

Lim Kit Siang’s dependency on racial sentiments is obvious when they embraced Amanah and PPBM upon being abandoned by PAS. His racial Mathematics on how Pakatan Harapan (PH) can win three more states and eventually take over Putrajaya is preposterous and self-delusional. 

2)       Kit Siang says a 10 percent swing in the Malay vote along with 5 percent of more non-Malay support could allow PH to take Perak, Negri Sembilan and Johor. This is akin to counting their chickens before the eggs hatch. Has Lim Kit Siang discounted the PAS votes or are they now exchanging ballots with PAS behind their supporters back?

3)       Does the DAP supremo realise that even if more Malays support PH, the non-Malays are now jaded and tired of DAP's constant flip-flop and embracing different allies at different times?

One can recall how PAS President Dato’ Seri Hadi Awang was embraced by Kit Siang before he was distanced. Now we are seeing the DAP stalwart embracing his political nemesis Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad whom Kit Siang had attributed multiple mega scandals and predictions of national doom to.

4)       The Malaysian Chinese have risked their personal safety and interest because of their trust in DAP and Lim Kit Siang. When he asked the Chinese to support Hadi Awang, they did, and as a result, PAS won many seats in the previous GE due to the strong Chinese support and are now gathering momentum on the Talibanisation of Malaysia.

5)       Upon being empowered, PAS severed ties with DAP, forcing DAP to resort to PPBM and Amanah. The Chinese voters are a trusting lot but DAP cannot continue to treat them like fools or take their support for granted by being directionless or wishy washy when it comes to seeking a political partner. Chinese voters who voted for PAS under the advice of Lim Kit Siang and DAP are now feeling like fools. Will they feel the same about Tun Dr Mahathir and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s party PPBM whose politics is reliant on "Pribumi" sentiments?

6)       Now Lim Kit Siang, by asking the Chinese to support his once arch nemesis Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his newly formed party PPBM which is founded on racial sentiments, is insulting to their mentality and intellect.

7)       Are the Chinese ready to get burnt by Lim Kit Siang one more time or will they be less passionate and wary of the Rocket now ?

8)       Lim Kit Siang was once dead against Dr Mahathir when he was detained along with his son Lim Guan Eng, under the ISA during "Operasi Lalang" in 1987 by Malaysia’s 4^th Prime Minister. He had called Dr Mahathir a dictator and authoritarian but is now asking people to support this "dictator."

9)       This is the same Dr Mahathir that former DAP chairman, the late Karpal Singh vowed to jail the moment the Opposition takes over Putrajaya.

10)     Karpal’s sons, Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo and Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh in their late father's memory and legacy should be unhappy that DAP now sits side by side with Dr Mahathir. They should not publicly support this alliance in memory of their well respected late father.

11)     I urge Lim Kit Siang to stop manipulating and misleading the Chinese politically out of their greed for power just so he can wrest more power for himself and his son.

12)     DAP should stop claiming they are a party with principles when they can swallow their pride by sitting next to Dr Mahathir and upholding his politics of Bumiputra or  "Pribumi" first . They have embraced UMNO's Tengku Razaleigh bin Tengku Mohd Hamzah who is better known as Ku Li, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim , Muhyiddin and Dr Mahathir. They have physically embraced UMNO's Dato’ Seri Nazri Aziz, Dato’ Seri Zahid Hamidi, etc. They have embraced PAS Ustaz Hadi. What next DAP?
