Invitation for a Debate and Dialogue

By Tan Gim Tuan

Barisan Nasional Candidate P106 Damansara

Last Sunday, 13 November 2022, in a forum attended by candidates contesting (PRU 15) for the seats of Segambut, Damansara, Subang and PJ, the issue of PJD Link  (the proposed tolled highway that will cut across Damansara) was raised by a member of the audience. PJD Link is a matter of concern to all residents of Damansara.

The Pakatan Harapan Selangor State Government gave approval to PJD Link on 3/9/2020. This approval must be given before any concession agreement is signed.

The  Pakatan Harapan candidate for Subang gave the wrong impression where he said that PJD Link was only approved by the Federal Government.

As the Pakatan Harapan State Government has given the approval, I would like to ask whether Pakatan Harapan’s Promise for abolition and no toll is still on.

To clear the air, with utmost respect, I hereby call on the candidates of Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional for Damansara (P 106) to discuss and debate this matter as soon as possible.

Time: 4.30 pm

Date: 17 November 2022 (Thursday)

Venue: MCA Sg Way, No. 17, SS 9A/15,  Sg Way, Petaling Jaya.

Moderator: Mr. David Yoong
